External communications at NorthMarq centered around press releases, as they highlight the bread and butter of the business. Press releases were done in APA format and often sent to the media to distribute. 

• Created drafts, then made edits with the producers and analysts, and finally sent off for approval. 

• Created tweets for the NorthMarq Twitter page based on the press releases or other company happenings such as events, employee birthdays, media releases etc. 

• Emailed reminders to offices to submit transactions to get more publicity and spruce up their office transaction page.
